Well, Moving day is May 31st. So that gives me about 5 & ½ weeks to get all things packed, stored, sold and cleaned for the big day. So I decided to make a list of things to get done each week.... and since we won't be moving into a house of our own ..... well my list may be just a bit different than most lists.
Week of April 22 -28 :
1.Contact the schools both here and there to get school records transferred at the end of the year.
2.Work on things stored ..... decided on if it is going to continue to be stored, sold in the yard sale or donated.
3.Gather boxes for packing.
4.Go through everyone's clothes...do a major purge for the summer.
Week of April 29 – May 5 :
1.Start packing non-essentials that we are keeping.
2.Start packing books (we have a large library and do not plan on getting rid of it).
3.Find storage for our things we are keeping but not able to take to Eric's parent's house.
4.Continue sorting for the moving sale.
Week of May 6 – 12 :
1.Start advertising for the moving sale.
2.Continue sorting for the moving sale.
3.Make sure all books are packed.
4.Finish packing non-essentials.
Week of May 13 – 19 :
1.Finish sorting for the moving sale and start pricing items.
2.Fill out a Change of Address from the Post Office.
3.Inform utilities of move. (We won't need any new utilities - for now - where we are going.)
4.Inform creditors of move and give new address and phone numbers.
Week of May 20-26 :
1.Finish pricing items and have moving sale on the weekend.
2.After moving sale take unsold items to donate.
3.Start deep cleaning house here – we want to leave it in the best of shape for the landlord.
4.Finalize any packing.
Final Days:
1.Gather all packed items and ready for move.
2.Finish deep cleaning house and yard.
3.Contact utilities again to assure disconnect on right date.
4.Give out new phone and address to friends we have made.
5.Turn in keys and say good bye.

Oh I am so happy for you ! Great lists. We will have to chat if you have time between your lists. What a relief I know you have been praying so hard . I have been praying and now celebrating right along with you.
