You live a relatively modest life. You don't overspend, and you aren't very materialistic.

You are also quite self sufficient and independent. You have many useful skills.

What does my name mean??????

What Traci Means

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life.

You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.

You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.

You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.

You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.

You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.

You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.

You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.

A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

If I was a nut......

So, I found out I would be a peanut...... does it fit????

You Are A Peanut

You are popular, even with people who tend to have picky taste.

Kids love you, as do dogs. From rednecks to snobs, most people have a place for you in their hearts.

As popular as you are, there are some people who can't be near you.

Don't take it too personally. There's just a few people you rub the wrong way.

Ten Reasons I Blog...

I've been tagged. Mel Avila Alarilla from Random Thoughts tagged me to share Ten Reasons I Blog. So here goes......

1. Blogging gives me an outlet..... most of my days are filled with what most people these days might think of as boring days..... chasing after kids, cooking, cleaning ...... you get the picture..... but I can let the world know that although my days are quiet and sometimes our family does without on many things ..... that we are happy, healthy, and love the Lord. We are so very blessed.

2. I like to brag a bit on my wonderful family. Eric is wonderful and the kids are growing up to be fine young men and women. I like to take time to let others know how great my family really is.

3. I like to share some of my favorite recipes..... I know its been a little while since I have but now that we are getting more settled in the new house.... I plan on making Friday's Fix'ins a regular thing once more!

4. I have met some of the most wonderful people online. Blogging helps me to stay in touch.

5. I like to see what others write about in their blogs. I have never planned on having a set reason to blog.... just wanted to share random thoughts ( or ramblings as I call them) but I do like to see how others turn one area in their life into a blog.... its very interesting.

6. We have family and friends that live a good distance away.... visiting with them is often difficult or simply not an option very often.... blogging helps them keep up with us and see what we've been up to.

7. I like to write.... always have..... I may not have the best way with words.... but that has never stopped me from doing much of anything.

8. I like to share how God blesses. We may not have many material things but we have a deep abiding JOY that can only come from HIM.

9. Blogging helps give me perspective. I may read something on another blog that may make me think on a subject in a different view..... kinda a different angle of thinking than what I might normally take.

10. I like to have company...... love visitors...... I love to invite people into our home..... this is just another way to do so......

So, ten reasons I blog....... now I am tagging anyone that reads this post. Also, Denita, Judy, and Tina you all three can count yourselves especially tagged! Thanks to Mel Avila Alarilla for tagging me and getting me to think about why I blog.... never really thought much about it before.

Ten Reasons Why I Blog. 1. Mel Avila Alarilla 2. Traci 3.

Please copy the tag and add your name on the list of those who have done this. Please do this to increase traffic in our respective blogs and tag as many as you can.

I have been tagged....

I have been tagged.... by my bestest friend Denita......

Here are the rules:

1. Link to your tagger and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share seven facts about yourself (some random, some weird).
3. Tag seven people by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Seven things about me....

1. I believe I am the only Southern gal that does not drink sweet tea...... I make very good sweet tea, just don't ask me to drink it..... go figure.

2. I love to see hungry men eat..... esp after coming in from a long hard day's work... to see him come in and grab a plateful just makes me smile.

3. I have what my daddy called a lazy eye.... my eye drifts so I must wear glasses to pull the eye muscles into the right position ..... the only thing is ... I really don't wear my glasses as much as I should....

4. I don't wear gold ...... I like silver.... always have.... besides it matches the silver in my hair.

5. Speaking of hair.... I have never colored my hair. And I don't plan to....

6. I don't do yardwork. Ever. No gardens, and esp. no flowers..... I'm VERY allergic to bees and other stinging things..... and the last time I was in the garden I was banished by Eric because I broke out in hives within just a few minutes...... so he does all the yard work. But NO flowers near the house!

7. I love science-fiction and fantasy books....

Now, I tag my very best friends ....... Judy and Tina

I found this great little quiz from my good far away friend Tina over at Red Wellies, Rainbows and Cinnamon Whirls and I just had to take it.....

I am Marianne Dashwood!

Take the Quiz here!

You are Marianne Dashwood of Sense & Sensibility! You are impulsive, romantic, impatient, and perhaps a bit too brutally honest. You enjoy romantic poetry and novels, and play the pianoforte beautifully. To boot, your singing voice is captivating. You feel deeply, and love passionately.

I've been tagged..... Eight Things

Eight Things About Me Tagg
I have been tagged by my sweet friend Angel. Here are the rules :
Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
People who are tagged write a blog post about their own 8 random things and post these rules.
At the end of your blog you need to tag 8 people and post their names.
Don’t forget to leave them a comment and tell them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Well, here goes... as you will see.... I'm not very interesting....

1. I have convinced my children that those cheap 25 cent boxes of Mac and Cheese are the best and most wonderful Mac and Cheese on the market......

2. I talk in my sleep.... Eric says we had some really good conversations the first year or so of our marriage.... yep, spill my guts in my sleep............... I can have no secrets from my husband.

3. I've been banned from the garden.... see a couple of years ago while working on bringing in some cucumbers with Eric I broke out in a bad allergic reaction to something in the garden.... and I am highly allergic to all things that sting (bees, hornets, wasps....) so I get to walk the perimeter of the garden and tell everyone how wonderful it all is .... but Eric forbids me entering it ever again.

4. I love to throw the baseball with Eric..... (and the kids) ..... but it is a great way for us to talk about things or discuss something that needs to be done.

5. When I get upset or mad .... I stamp my foot... yes, just like a temper tantrum torn two year old I stamp my foot when I don't get my way ......

6. I'm a bookaholic..... I love to read.... and I have been blessed to have passed the love of reading to the kids (for the most part anyway)

7. When I was 4 I sang in front of 50 thousand people at the Annual Walking Horse Festival in Shelbyville, TN

8. I could eat myself sick on meringue cookies....... I just love how they melt in your mouth!

Well, there ya have it ....... my simple self. Now I am going to tag Mrs. Gaylynn and Merideth and then consider all who read this to be tagged because I just don't read many blogs and Angel already tagged just about everyone else I would have tagged......

Optimist/ Pessimist?

Well, just to see if I agreed with the test I took it..... Just like I figured....

You Are a Realist

You don't see the glass as half empty or half full. You see what's exactly in the glass.
You never try to make a bad situation seem better than it is...
But you also never sabotage any good things you have going on.
You are brutally honest in your assessments of situations - and this always seems to help you cope.
