A good day....

Wow! What a productive and good day today was..... we had great weather here.... a nice cool (yes Tina, cool) 74 degrees and so we decided to turn off the air and open all the windows for a good house airing ....... ahhhh, so nice!

As you can see here we moved the couch in the library to in front of the windows.... I put in a table for the girls to have a school room for now in the library..... it is working out pretty good.
Yes, that is shoestrings tying the curtains back for the air to get a good flow in.....

This afternoon I put a loaf of oatmeal bread in my bread machine... I got the recipe for the bread on Hillbilly Housewife. It was so good!

We did get lots done today... laundry, cleaning, and the girls did their school work. A good day!

It sounds like a wonderful and productive day! Your window scene looks so pretty!

I have gotten some excellent recipes from Hillbilly Housewife too! I'll have to check out the oatmeal bread.

I love days like these!

Blessings & hugs,

Sharon

lol Traci! That would be quite a warm day here...the highest temps we get in Scotland in summer is around 68-84! (I had to google a converter coz we work in celcius here!)

Sounds like you had a great day!

love, Tina :)

Hi! Ok, here's how the bread went. For some reason, it fell in the middle. But I just cut that top section off (which wasn't too much anyway) and the rest was just fine. It had a good texture and flavor. B. was skeptical, but P. really liked it! (Are we surprised? Lol.) I gave some to dh with is supper when he got home but I forgot to mention it was homemade. But he ate it with no complaints, so that's good!

When I was in town last night I found those jeans on clearance for P. I got him a pair - they actually are too big but we can cinch them up with a belt and put a shirt over it and no one will know. The legs are kind of long, but since they're just jeans and not dress pants I'll just let him roll them up. B. has been wearing all the jeans we got from you all week. That was such a help you just don't know!

Hugs~~
