One of the most wonderful things about knowing God is that there's always so much more to know, so much more to discover. Just when we least expect it, He intrudes into our neat and tidy notions about who He is and how He works.
~ Joni Eareckson Tadaby ~
1Co 13:9-12 Now we know only a little, and even the gift of prophecy reveals little! But when the end comes, these special gifts will all disappear. It's like this: When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now. (NLT)
How wonderful it is to be a Christian. God allows us the time and lessons unique to each of us for learning more of His ever enduring love for us, His children. He knows that we all must learn in our own way and as He provides those lessons, He is ready for us (to come to Him) at any time to offer comfort, support, strength and the enduring promise of truth..... for He never changes.
All that I know now is partial and incomplete,....... just as a little babe must learn to do all things, we as children of God must learn and discover for our own selves the boundless wonder that is God's grace and all that it entails..... oh what blessings each of us have been bestowed. We must treat each day as a new adventure into the depth of God's infinite wisdom. For it is in each new discovery that our faith our boldness and our dependence on Him will ever grow.
