As you can see (and hear) I added a widget to my blog .... Sonific Songspot..... and I just wanted to ask any that would care to commment ...... do like it or would you rather there be no music playing.... or keep it and edit it to play only if the one reading the blog wants to hear it?

I always surf with the sound muted coz I once got tricked by one of those screaming face things and it scared me half to death! I have thought about putting one of these things on my blog but never got round to it.

It is good that you have it at the top so people don't have to search for it to turn it off if you ever want to play a video. It is a real hinderance when you have to look all over the place for them.

I like it but as your previous blogger noted it might be nice to keep it at the top so if anyone doesn't like music or your taste in music, they could mute it or stop it. I have mine at the bottom of my blog. It took me a while to put it on my site but now I have it. I think the type of music you choose is important cause some music would hinder your thought patterns if you know what I mean.
My preference is to have them and set them to play automatically. If the person reading the blog doesn't like it, they always have the option of turning it off. Alot of times if a blog has one but it's set to off the reader won't think to go and turn it on.
